About the Association
The Kilmarnock FC Supporters' Association (KFCSA) exists to
promote support for Kilmarnock Football Club and to act as a
link between the Football Club and the Fans.
The Association was founded in 1946 and some of you may remember
the Association premises in St. Marnock Street and later in
Wellington Street.
After a number of years of inactivity the Association was resurrected
in 1990 as an association of Supporters' Clubs who travelled
to away matches, which were at the time the only real organised
groupings of the Killie support.
Following the Scottish Cup win in 1997 some members of the Association
took the view that considering the numbers of Killie fans, and
indeed those with just Killie sympathies, in evidence, the membership
of the Association was very low. At this point it was decided
that membership of the Association be opened up to individuals
rather than just travel clubs and the Magazine
Kissin' The Squirrels was launched as a link
between the Association and its members. Sadly the initial upsurge
in membership was not sustained and the demise of the magazine
saw the number of individual members decline in sympathy.
The Association was recently re-launched in the summer of 2002,
with the appointment of a new chairman, and is currently endeavouring
to recruit more individual members. If you are not a member
of the Association and would like to join, you can do so
here.
Supporters' Clubs run buses
to most Killie away games, and some also run buses to home games.
Bus Times for each club can be found here.
